2024 CTF Education Symposium
The most anticipated event of the year for many, this two day hands-on workshop is intense and intensely fun for students and professionals alike. Students are paired with mentors for one-on-one coaching. Student teams compete in a real-world RFP scenario while professionals role play stakeholders and decision-makers. Student participants are eligible for exclusive scholarship opportunities. This year’s event will feature a special hands-on offsite a high profile transportation project. Can you guess which one?

2nd Annual Speakeasy Casino Night FUNraiser
A separate ticketed event, the CTF Casino Night Speakeasy After Party will take place immediately following the Awards Gala. The event features games of chance, dancing, a photo booth with themed props, and delectable goodies.
Tickets included hosted parking, two drink tickets, chips and funny money to let the good times roll!
Speakeasy doors open at 8:00 PM
Roaring 20’s themed semi formal attire is encouraged.

2023 CTF Transportation Awards Gala
34th Annual Transportation Awards Gala
Each year CTF honors the best and brightest in transportation across 18 different categories. Join us on June 6, 2023 to see who will capture the top honors for each category. This year we honor the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) as the winner of the prestigious Organization of the Year Award, Therese McMillan as Person of the Year, Hon. Jim Costa as Elected Official of the Year, and Sixth Street Bridge as Project of the Year.
Additionally, Caltrans will award their annual Management Awards, CalCOG will present the California Regional Leadership Class of 2023. CTF will honor Suzanne Smith for her service as Executive Director of the Sonoma County Transportation Authority. The Heinz Heckeroth Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Will Kempton for his many contributions and dedicated service to the transportation industry over a distinguished career.
Registration opens at 4 PM with a no-host bar.
Program starts at 5 PM.

2021 CTF Transportation Awards Ceremony
32nd Annual Transportation Awards Ceremony
Each year CTF honors the best and brightest in transportation across 18 different categories including Elected Official of the Year, Person of the Year, Organization of the Year and Project of the Year.
This year we hosted a virtual ceremony to celebrate our winners and crown the victors in 14 project categories.
Bragging rights for the year were at stake, and nearly 300 attendees were there to cheer on the finalists. Check out the interactive program and gallery below to see who won.
