This scholarship is given in memory of Arun Sudhakar, former District Branch Chief of the Bay Bridge-New East Span toll bridge.

The California Transportation Foundation (CTF), a nonprofit organization, announces one $2,000 scholarship: the Arun Sudhakar Memorial Fund Scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic year. Applicants must be in their senior year of high school and the son or daughter of a Caltrans employee. All high school seniors interested in the disciplines (such as engineering, architecture, or urban studies) practiced within the California Department of Transportation are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must meet the following general criteria:
Must be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or documented international student.
Must be in his/her senior year of high school.
Must be the son or daughter of a Caltrans employee.
Must submit a brief essay or video. (See “Application Instructions” for details.)
Must provide a copy of his/her current transcript (unofficial/internet copies are acceptable)
